Small town simplicity, How devine!

Hello, welcome to Mississippi !! This is God's country!! We know how to welcome you with a tender comforting smile, that you are sure to remember! While saying, How yall' doin'? Where we know everyone's business, even things we don't want to know! HA HA We love to laugh so much and hard, you always need a tissue or a hanky near by, yes mam' , yes sir would be our most common words, which seems to be a lost art else ware. Most of us have a few painful memories, if those lil' words were inored, those there words are in the blood. We like to dance and sing and just hang out! Sound like fun? I'm just an ol' mountain woman. I live in a holler in the woods of western NC. I can almost throw a stone across the TN border. That's how close we are. We're also at the southern tip of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Gotta love God's country.

HONOR BEST FRIENDS

In Honor of My Most Precious Friend

What can you say about a best friend in your life? I have to say, I'm so blessed. We all have friends at different times during our lives. Even different kinds of friends. I have a friend sent straight down from the hand of God, nothing I deserved, just so blessed. June 1st , 22 yrs ago, A lil' small town sidewalk lead me straight to my best friends house. At first, she was nothing like I had ever seen in this town, I was stunned from her sweet and sappy cheerful words, " Do you want to play", she even pursueed me and found me at my house. I was literally blown away at how nice she was. I even thought she might be a lil' weird at first! ha ha. What I'm saying is, from the first day I met this amazing God fearing lil' girl, she was real and lovley. From our first periods, first kisses, school girl crushes, heartaches, revelation of who Jesus is, highschool,college, marriage and now to the present times, both with children, she has impacted my life in too too many ways. Always loving and encouraging. I will continue this honoring in a post... Honoring best friends..........Continueing soon

Amazing God

Did you ever think about what our God knows,literally, the details, spell it out, ponder on His vast greatness and Love!

Every tear you have cried is counted for, not one gets away, he knows everyone
He knows you so well and personal, he can tell you how many hairs are on your head
He hears you everytime you call forHim, pray to Him, Get upset with Him, praise Him.
Your desires, He knows everyone
Your needs,sure He knows,He has already sent His heavenly Host to your aid and direction
He taught the sun where to stand in the morning
He taught the ocean to only come up to the lands so far
Every star was placed by His great and mighty hand
He knows what things we will each suffer in this life, and even warns us of it.
The eyes of the Lord are everywhere,keeping watch on the wicked and the good.
The very One that let there be sunlight, let there be you and me.
It's amazing to fathom His greatness and love so big, that he created and cares for lil' ole you and me!
Jesus describes us as His glory, it really is love, not just a story. Even though, alot of the events happened 2ooo plus years, Jesus said, He is the same yesterday, today and forever. His promise and love still stands just as strong, as if He died on that cross for you and I today. Great to know, This great God, our Savoir,that parts the oceans, loves you and cares about, even the littlest details. Praise to our Father in Heaven, and to Our precious Jesus, who sits at the right hand of God, interceding for us. May God shine His amazing grace and love into our families and world, that we might see truth. For one day ,EVERY tongue will confess and head shall bow, knowing and claiming that He is Lord.Amen. When life brings sorrow and anxiouty's flood in, truly,BE Still, and Know He is God, Be Still.Amen
